Interests:

Traveller, taking every chance possible to go abroad. There is still a huge “must-see list” to go…

Photographer, having begun at the age of 14 and learned ever since. After starting off with a small pocket camera I went on to my grandfathers SLR, continuing to digital pocket cameras and finally DSLR. Photoshop often plays a significant role, as I aim towards recreating the exact looks as well as the “feel” of the moment a picture was taken. Therefore I do a lot of experimenting with panoramas, HDR and color keys.

Hobby cook, diving fearlessly into the world of modernist cuisine (at the moment digesting the book by Nathan Myhrvold). Latest obsessions include the creation of extraordinary ice cream flavors, and pushing sous vide to the limits…

Golfer, admittedly without much talent and showing mediocre skills at best, but nontheless enthusiastic about this great sport. Trying to play a round with friends on summer weekends as often as possible.
